Terms governing use of this website and engagement with Dataweb Business Services.
These terms apply to this website and to the basis on which Dataweb Business Services Limited provides consultancy and managed services. Where a signed engagement agreement exists with a client, that agreement takes precedence over these terms. Last updated 12 August 2026.
Who we are
Dataweb Business Services Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 08444080. Registered office: 58–60 Wetmore Road, Burton On Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 1SN, United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us” and “Dataweb” in these terms mean that company.
Using this website
The content of this website is provided for general information about our services. It does not constitute advice and should not be relied on as such. We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free or free of malicious code, and we are not responsible for the content of any external site we link to.
Services and engagement
Consultancy and managed services are provided under a separate written agreement, statement of work or engagement letter agreed with each client. That document defines the scope, deliverables, fees, duration and service levels. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and no client relationship arises until an engagement is agreed in writing.
Advertising accounts and third-party platforms
Where we manage advertising or other third-party platform accounts, the client retains ownership of those accounts and of the data within them. We act only on the client’s authorisation and only in respect of accounts we have been appointed to manage. Use of those platforms remains subject to the platform provider’s own terms and policies, including Google’s advertising policies and API terms, and we do not control decisions taken by a platform provider such as disapproval of an advertisement or suspension of an account.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of material they supply to us, for holding the rights necessary to use that material, for the compliance of their own products, services and websites, and for granting and revoking the access we need to perform the services. Where we act on a client’s instruction we rely on that instruction being authorised.
Fees and payment
Fees, payment terms and any expenses are set out in the applicable engagement agreement. Advertising spend paid to a platform provider is separate from our fees and, unless expressly agreed otherwise, is billed by that provider directly to the client.
Intellectual property
The content, branding and design of this website belong to Dataweb or our licensors. Ownership of materials produced during an engagement is dealt with in the engagement agreement. We retain ownership of our own methods, know-how, templates and internal tooling, including any software we develop to deliver our services.
Confidentiality
We treat non-public information disclosed to us in the course of an engagement as confidential and use it only to provide the agreed services, except where disclosure is required by law or a regulator. Corresponding obligations apply to information we disclose to a client.
Data protection
Personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy. Where we process personal data on a client’s behalf, that processing is governed by the data protection provisions of the engagement agreement.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with an engagement is limited as set out in the applicable engagement agreement. In relation to use of this website alone, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
Termination rights are set out in the applicable engagement agreement. We may withdraw or restrict access to this website at any time without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the website is the version that applies, and the date of the current version is shown above.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising out of them or their subject matter are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
